Dali & the 80s

The difference between false memories and true ones is the same as for jewels: it is always the false ones that look the most real, the most brilliant.

Salvador Dali

If you remember the music of the 80s with rose tinted spectacles try http://www.1500videos.com you could cringe along to the tunes you thought made you one cool sob

you are so right. i was listening to "80s hour" on the radio at noon today and hated every single song.

unfortunately, most of the best stuff never got radio play, that's the problem. at least here in the states, not counting college radio (which was terrific).

Those were dark days in the history of music. I get a hot flash and a peristaltic heave in my colon when I think about it.

The best music of the 80s was never mainstream , I was watching a programme top of the pops 2 on saturday night which showed live acts from the past 20 years ago and I turned it off , it was so embaressing watching the audience in the crap day glow 80s clothes and mullets , embaressing and cringe worthy
