Update

Its a bit like riding a bike this blogging. You spend some time away from it and its kinda hard to get back into the flow of things. Several small things have gotten in the way of this A my boss has noticed that I spend too much time on the net B recouperating from aforesaid illness C Suolas hogging the PC etc it all mounts up and then suddenly you feel like a spotlight on you to an attentive audience and you want to impress and be witty just to proove to yourself you havent lost that black magic you convinced yourself you had. You just have to put your best foot forward and write like you know what youre talking about I guess...

So Im off work looking after the girls whilst soulas swelters in spain at a splattering 73F I do not envy him. Meanwhile in Chez Aucturas we are sans proper washing facilities, A hairline crack in the shower tray that was clandestine to us decided to make its presence known by opening its mouth and turned itself into a gaping hole - I mean for a week or so I was smelling this foul smell that would gag a tramp if I got up in the middle of the night to the toilet -the place was doused in bleach and air freshner etc until the crack got bigger and thats when we noticed it was the water lodging under the tray and hence the stench. So the plumber was in, new shower tray fitted but the dampness rose up the wall and the tiles had to come out. So we are resigned to wash from the handbasin until the lazy arsed plumber can get his shite together which on wednesday next. I already feel like Im sweating the ebola virus so Im off to my mothers tomorrow to scrub myself raw.
I am also experiencing decent bouts of sleep since Suolas left, I mean usually I dont get to bed until about 12 or 1am then the girls wake me up in the middle of the night so I do this about 3 timesa night and then they are awake at 6am ish - get the idea ? Not much sleep. No wonder Im addicted to diet coke I think its the only thing propping me up these days. And before you say why dont you just go to bed earlier? Its not an option really because having two wee ones does not give you too much time with ones other half- its a parental curse bestowed by their offspring, But for now its put them to bed, indulge myself in an episode of Dr Who ( with the charismatic talents of David Tennant) wash and am in bed by 11 at the latest. I know this will be short lived but Im enjoying it all the same.
