I too feel like Im on the wrong planet sometimes and wish like Bill Hicks that the aliens will abduct me an take me to their utopian world of Aucturas, However in between Ill have to make do with the rollarcoaster ride that is life here in Dublin.

Father Ted
I love this episode and if youve never seen Father Ted I hope you feel like youve discovered a comedic gem
It's too much to download on my sad little computer. I do like the opening music, helicopter and whispy wind sounds. The bomb sound clues me in to the type of show that it is.
I love it. Too bad this would never air in the USA. Too many people without a sense of humor would be offended. Shame, it's insanely funny! Thanks for introducing!
Olives Im sure you can pick up the dvd on amazon, well worth it Im telling ya - its a pity the guy who downloaded it on you tube didnt download the last 5 minutes of it. 'Feck him in anyway' as Father Ted would say. BTW I used to work with the writers sister..
You are right, there’s genius in that comedy. I think we could use a prime-time satirical stab at religion in this part of the world, sadly, pickled olives is correct, it will never happen.

ReplyDeleteI love Father Ted! My chap, Flip, loved it, too. It reminded us of Monty Python.
ReplyDeleteThanks for bringing a bit of hilarity into our morning.
